1st heard baldry on record singing with cyril davis all stars. in person @ the twisted wheel.met him in victoria bc @the house of blues/ not lost anything his canadian band were tight.you could see he was the constant professional love and peace john

The first concert I ever went to in the year 1964( I think )at either Carshalton or Wallington in Surrey,I was 15.A totally amazing and unique voice, and obviously an inspiration to many. Thanks for the memory LJB

I have thought about and enjoyed so much Long John Baldry's version of Willie Dixon's "You Can't Judge A Book By Looking At Its Cover", from his "Everything Stops For Tea" album, which I still have. It, and the other songs on the album, have meant a lot.
