Hey Hey, saw Private Eye in concert in Lethbridge,Alberta back in '79(can't remember who you opened for) and have never forgotten the sound! Had a cassette until it got eaten and then re-discovered the LP at a collector store near where I live. I even bought a more mint one off the internet recently! Honestly, it's one of the more underrated rock albums I can remember and it still gives me great pleasure to play it from time to time. I wish you success with the Hippies but I sure wish the Private Eye album was on CD!!

I was trying to get a note to Gordy. I used to live on Cavell Ave and was childhood friends with gordy when Hughie was in the Lords of London and Corn Flakes and Ice Cream was number one in TO. Since I've been a musician myself, I've given some credit to this period of my life. Gordy and I would sit on his porch on Saturdays and listen to the top ten to see where the song placed. I have fond memories of this time and just wanted to say thanks.
